| Invocation to Bride
Drawing to a close, now is the shadowy night Twinkling and bright, O’ Morning Star light Dapples with dew, like glistening cold jewels. From deep within thy villages, and out amongst thy rurals
Quiet is the forest, subdued is the glade Perched upon a whisper, balanced upon the blade. Yet from the dark comes the promise of the new day, Tucked within a black cloak, mane golden as the flame.
Early yet late, when only insane or artists dare tred Driven by a passion, hunger longing to be fed. You stir us from our cradles and yank us from our beds, Drawn by your single candle, down a path we have longed to be led.
By and ancient faery well, stand you and waits A lone figure upon whom the black cloak is draped Eyes blue, twin flames burning bright Flames to match your candle, against the dark is your light.
You are inspiration and passion, a muse to the guilds You are the healer and the crafter, we are the students to your will. Mercurial and intuitive, elusive and free. You are the dusk before the dawn, and the sapling to the tree.
Bride! O’ Bride! Maiden of the Dawn! Lover of Creation! Lady do we long!
Fill us! Mold us! Inspire us to be! Greater than ourselves, fillers of the need.

| The Morrigan ~ Lady Teara Wolfrose
Lady raven, fly. Black wings shadow falls over battle fields, sacred fields and bring the breath of Avalon, The peace of the West. We have tried, warrior maid, we have fought, we have died 'til the dolmens and groves have run red with our blood. Battle crone, are we lost as your standing stones fall? Do our own Wicca ways go for naught? Morrigan, Morrigan.
Do not cry, Wicca child, for your life or your ways. Know the peace of the grave is a rest, not an end. To my ways be reborn, for the craft never died and my time comes again, I am the Morrigan, Morrigan.
Lady raven, fly, black wing's shadow falls over city lights, jewelled nights and come to us from Avalon, come forth from the west.
See my black feathered cape in the night, moonless night. Know my wing's shadow falls not to hide, but protect. For each wise one who calls, never more shall they fall. And from Avalon come I again. Morrigan, Morrigan.
(This lovely prayer is from The Morrigan, by Teara Jo Staples.)
"I amar prestar aen, han mathon ne nen, han mathon ne chae a han noston ned 'wilith"
The world is changing, I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air.

| "You shall live in blessing, you shall live glorious in my protection; and when you have fulfilled your allotted span of life and descend to the underworld, there too you shall see me, as you see me now, shining. And if you show yourself obedient to my divinity...you will know that I alone have permitted you to extend your life beyond the time allocated you by your destiny."
I will overcome Fate.

| Brighid of the Mantle
Brighid of the Mantle, encompass us Lady of the Lambs, protect us Keeper of the Hearth, kindle us, Beneath your mantle, gather us, And restore us to memory. Mothers of our mother, Foremothers strong Guide our hands in yours, Remind us how, To kindle the hearth, To keep it bright, To preserve the flame. Your hands upon ours, Our hands within yours, To kindle the light, Both day and night. The Mantle of Brighid about us The Memory of Brighid within us The Protection of Brighid keeping us From harm, from ignorance, from heartlessness. This day and night From dawn till dark From dark till dawn.
