| Who woulda thunk? The movie End of the World on Syfy channel was actually intelligent, funny, witty and well done. First Syfy movie I could have EVER said that about.
It's a spoof on disaster movies that elevates itself by poking fun at the genre. And unlike most Syfy movies, the acting is quite good. The plot actually makes sense for a change, and the people don't go stupidly walking into danger. Well except one of the bad guys, but his nasty grasping attitude makes his actions plausible.
I guess if a few million monkeys typing for a few million years could eventually type the works of Shakespeare, then anything is possible, but WOW the Syfy channel making a decent movie sounded far less likely. Who would have guessed?!
