| Title: The Lady's Bransle
[Glenn Turner wrote in Vol. 6, Issue 3 of "The Witches' Trine" - Spring Equinox 1996: "After a glorious sabbat in the summer of '69, our group of thirty or so was picnicking on the lawn at my parents' home in Mill Valley. At the foot of the lawn is a redwood grove with a circular daughter-ring at its heart. There, in the shaded center, we had raised a strong cone-of-power as we danced to the music of "Nonesuch" played on a flute.
Everyone felt that "Nonesuch", though it lacked words, held the right rhythm and tone. "How very good it would be to sing as we dance," I said, as we rested there on the grass, and the others agreed. After that, the thought stayed with me.
My mother, Hope Athearn, is a published poet, so the next time I went to Mill Valley I asked her if she would write lyrics for "Nonesuch". She was delighted. She agreed at once. But there was a problem. My mother is not a musician; in fact she can't carry a tune at all.
The upshot of that was an odd afternoon with me singing the tune to a series of da-da-das and beating the rhythm out with my hands. Meanwhile my mother made poetic notations of long and short beats on a paper pad to discover the scansion required for the words. I think she already knew it would be a paean to nature. The next week she gave me the words. And here they are, just as she wrote them."]
Oh, She will bring the buds in the spring and dance among the flowers. In summer's heat Her kisses are sweet, She sings in leafy bowers. She cuts the cane, She gathers the grain, when fruits of fall surround Her. Her bones grow old in wintery cold, She wraps Her cloak around Her.
But She will bring the buds in the spring etc. etc. (repeat)
(The Lady's Bransle (pronounced 'brawl') is the song that most frequently accompanies the cone of power dance at NROOGD rituals.)

| The Morrigan
Damh the Bard
Fingers of mist caress Soldiers and fallen kings, A field lies silent As an old crow spreads her wings (Chorus) What do you see? What do you see? Cast your viel over the Sun. Morrighan I have washed the blood away And each will take your turn, Another life given to me, When will you ever learn? (Bridge 1) And the will of man, Lies heavy on the land, Until you change your plan, I’ll be ready. Night is falling, But it’s the noon of the day, A flight of Ravens here, To carry our souls away. (Bridge 2) I am the Phantom Queen, And everything you’ve been, And everything you’ve killed, And all the blood you’ve spilled, All the bullets and the guns, All the Fathers and the Sons, Lying dead in the streets, Children crying at their feet, Is this the world you want? Look, the sun is fading away….

| Hecate, Cerridwen
Hecate, Cerridwen, Dark mother take us in, Hecate, Cerridwen, Let us be reborn.
Return to the Mother Return to the Mother Return to the Mother Die and be reborn.
I remember back in the WRCF chants class we matched this with two other chants and sung them simultaneously with one group taking one chant, another the second and one the third. Together they sounded amazing. Will try to remember which the other two were.
Incidentally, the following video doesn't include the 2nd half of the song, I'll try to find it. Also, although this video may have the original singing for all I know, you can take this up tempo a bit, and make it sound a bit less like a dirge.

| Om Sita Shakti
Om Sita Shakti Om Sita Shakti Om Sita Shakti Rise in me!
(repeat)
This was the third song that mixed with Hecate Cerridwen
Om is the sound of the Universe Sita was the wife of Rama and symbolized womanly and wifely virtues. And her name means "furrow," suggesting that she was originally a Goddess of passion and fertility. (Post more about her if you know more!) Shakti means "to be able" and represents the Divine Feminine in Hindu mythology. She represents creativity, fertility and is the agent of all change.
Edit:
Oops no - the words we used (now that my memory has returned) were:
Kundalini, Shakti Kundalini, Shakti Kundalini, Shakti Rise in me!
